If your operation is experiencing organizational or process challenges, or you need help crafting long-term or short-term organizational strategic goals, or simply want to evaluate and improve overall operations we have the expertise and resources to help.
Here are some of the consulting services we provide:
Safety and Quality (SMS and Human Factors Improvement)
Purdue Aviation Technology faculty and student teams have heavily researched Safety Management Systems and Human Factors. This research has been leveraged by multiple companies to provide for a complete analysis of safety management system and human factors-related injuries. Purdue Aviation Consulting can offer detailed analysis of existing systems, feedback and implementation of new procedures and programs, which can further enhance clients’ existing programs or new implementation efforts. Procedures and programs can be developed and tailored to client’s needs and historical trends.
SMS/Human Factors Workshops and Certificate Program
Clients who participate in the SMS/Human Factors program offered by Purdue Aviation Consulting will gain working knowledge and experience through a project-based learning curriculum. Upon certification, participants can expect to fully understand human factors and SMS optimization as applied to their organization.
Optimization and Improvement
Purdue Aviation Consulting four-step approach to operations offers clients comprehensive process mapping and process analysis services to identify root-cause and solve business problems using optimization and new technology tailored to the client’s specific needs and goals.
Leadership and Management Workshops and Certificate Program
Purdue Aviation Consulting will train clients’ personnel on leadership principles in the workplace. Focusing on aviation, this program can equip employees with the essential tools required to lead within an aviation work setting.
Purdue Student Internship Program
Students who participate in the Purdue Aviation Consulting program are paired with industry partners to help solve problems through project-based experiences. Students will use the experience and knowledge acquired during their studies at Purdue University to support partner companies. The benefits of the internship are twofold: as a potential employer, companies have the opportunity to learn more about the interns who they may consider for future positions, and the interns have the opportunity to learn more about future employers, while gaining skills and experience with new technologies being developed and implemented within the aviation industry.
